One-of-a-kind textures and vibrant colors define colored stone, which is progressively subverting accepted aesthetic wisdom of color. Marble with different colors is posing this difficulty. The specific type of marble in issue not only makes the inside area aesthetically pleasing but also offers an almost limitless range of creative possibilities. Especially in high-end home décor and commercial space, colorful marble is becoming more and more trendy in current design. The United States especially shows this pattern in great frequency. One expects this trend to keep on.

Marble comes in a wide spectrum of colors; some of them are deep blue, emerald, deep cyan, and several variants of deep gem tones. These hues are often used in interior space design since they are so rich and beautiful. These colorful marbles might not only be the center point of the room but also mix in with other indoor furnishings to produce an absolutely harmonic look. One may possibly do this. The names of these colored stones, Four Seasons Green, Prada Green, Four Seasons Pink, Smoke Pink, Tiffany Blue, Dream Blue, and so on, abound in a range of lyrical and metaphorical implications, a fine illustration of this. Moreover, the colors and textures of these marbles give designers a great variety of choices for artistic expression, which is a big benefit.
Furthermore, the popularity of colored stone reflects the need for uniqueness and customization that current customers are demanding more and more. Comparatively to the more conventional variants of black, white, and gray stones, marble in a variety of colors has the capacity to more fairly depict the uniqueness and brightness of the region. This tendency is particularly clear in the stone industry, and many stone merchants have started focusing on the several kinds of multicolored marble that are now on demand in order to satisfy the needs of the market.

A Colorful Onyx Custom Case
Under the project name “Rippling Blue Waves,” designer Zhang Chen (pseudonym) created a 15-square-meter bathroom area in a lovely Shanghai Tomson Yipin in search of a peaceful location for owners to unwind and savor peace. In this contemporary house design context, the bathroom serves as a personal and artistic design element in addition to a daily cleaning space. Designer Zhang Chen mostly employed vivid jade as the ornamental element. Its distinctive color and texture have made the bathroom progressively a new choice in design, creating a space full of energy for the owner. Apart from ornamentation, the use of colored stone reflects a life attitude and helps the owner to experience the calm and harmony of nature among the busy metropolitan life. With green as the dominant color, the design combines colored jade, metal, glass, wood and other elements, with gold, white and gray augmenting the fresh and beautiful mood. This design scenario helps us to realize the countless possibilities of colored jade for bathroom decoration. Its special charm gives modern homes a fresh vibrancy.

The bathroom space layout is mainly open, divided into three main areas: washing area, shower area and bathtub area. The designer cleverly uses the natural texture of colored stone to connect these three areas in series, forming a unified and varied space.
Washing Area
Designer Zhang Chen painstakingly created a visually appealing but also functionally useful space in the wash room of the Bi Bo Dang Yang project. The designer aimed to provide owners with a neat and stylish wash environment. The owner initially notices a background wall composed of colorful jade as they enter the restroom. The first object that grabs sight is this wall. Thanks to its green textures—which come in a range of colors and suggest a vivid woodland painting—the wash area is imbued with natural vitality and a calm ambiance. Each and every time cleaning the colored stone is a joyful experience since its surface has been well polished and reflects soft light, therefore adding a lovely glow.

The washbasin is made in a simple but extravagant style. One single colored stone chunk that has been colored makes up the countertop. Its organically flowing texture generates a harmonic oneness in the space that reminds one of the texture on the wall in the backdrop. This design not only highlights the naturally beautiful features of jade but also shows the designer’s relentless dedication to detail. Cleverly placed under the sink, a row of white drawers might be utilized to keep daily use toiletries and other products. It not only satisfies functional criteria but also helps to create a sense of visual hierarchy. Its simple lines contrast remarkably with the lovely texture of the colored stone gems.
Apart from it, the designer placed a big makeup mirror in the dressing room. Metal makes up the frame; it produces a lovely contrast when mixed with the golden texture of the colored stone background wall. It reflects light, therefore enhancing the openness and brightness of the area and so augmenting the space. Every feature of this wash room shows how well the designer combined modern design with aspects of nature and luxury. From the choice of colored stone to the embellishment of metal frames, from the functional design of the white drawer cabinet to the creative placement of the makeup mirror, each and every one of these elements reflects the designer’s quest of quality of life and great awareness of aesthetics. This wash room is not only a basic place for cleaning but also a quiet space where people might get some peace and leisure among their busy life.
Shower Area
The Bi Bo Dang Yang project’s designer painstakingly created a natural and modern bathing place in the shower area using colored stone as the main material for the floor and wall. This produced an environment that is aesthetically beautiful as well as safe. The colored stone on the floor has been specifically anti-slip coated to guarantee its safety for use. Conversely, the colored stone on the wall has stayed in its natural texture. The disparity between the white tiles in the shower area and the several tones of green it contains provides a sense of layering in the room. On top is a large glass skylight allowing shower area natural light access. Calm and warm mood is created by the mottled light and shadow pattern produced when sunlight filters through the skylight onto the brilliant jade. The designer also included a seat made of vibrant colored stone in a corner of the shower area so that the owner can unwind during a shower. The design process of the seat took ergonomics into account to ensure comfort of use. Stainless steel makes up most of the parts of the modern shower system. The juxtaposition between the natural texture of the vivid jade and the basic lines and flat surface of the product brings modernism into the environment. Every design shows the designer’s quest of great awareness of aesthetics and quality of living. From the use of colored jade to the ingenious layout of the skylight, from the anti-slip floor treatment to the humanized design of the seat, every element shows the designer’s ability to include nature, safety, and modernism into the design. This shower room is a private area where people may find a moment of peace and relaxation among their busy life, not only a basic bathing place.
Bathtub Area
Clearly a highlight of the Bi Bo Dang Yang project’s bathroom design is the bathtub space. Located in the bathroom’s innermost point, it offers the owner a secluded and cozy place for rest. The bathtub’s backdrop was deftly created from a large piece of colored stone by the designer. This colored stone has a rich and vivid texture; the green texture is broken by gold and white dots like a glittering lake, so creating a peaceful and opulent bathtub scene.
The bathtub itself has an embedded design, and its edge is precisely interwoven with the colored stone texture behind it, thereby generating a natural and harmonic expansion visually and also a sense of movement in space. This architectural approach gives the bathtub a natural growth from the colored stone, mixing with the surroundings, thereby giving the owner a bathing experience as though they were in nature.
Above the bathroom the designer installed a metal and glass chandelier. Its contemporary architecture not only gives the space some fashion but also enough soft and appropriate lighting for the bathtub section. The chandelier’s warm and romantic ambiance created by its diffused light across the glass lets the user enjoy more cosy illumination for a bath.
On both sides of the bathtub, the designer meticulously arranged two colored stone shelfs. Not only useful, but these shelves also allow one to arrange toiletries and aromatic candles. Their natural texture accentuates the opulence of the bathing area as well. The shelves’ design considers both appearance and usefulness, therefore enabling the owner to quickly reach the goods they require for use with the bathtub.
Furthermore, the designer arranged some very beautiful ornamental items including plants and art sculptures in the bathtub area. These decorations provide this private area some liveliness in addition to enhancing the artistic feeling of the room. Materials used in the bathtub area’s floor and walls also complement the backdrop colored stone, therefore guaranteeing the consistency and unity of the whole room.
The bathtub area’s design totally takes owner comfort experience and aesthetic preferences into account. Modern and harmonic bathing room is produced by meticulous material selection and detail processing, thereby reflecting luxury and natural, modern and harmonic. Apart from being a perfect spot for the owner to unwind, this area is a striking accent for decoration in the house.
The designer of this particular bathroom design paid great attention to building each and every component to provide a very warm surroundings. The bathroom features a variety of plants, including air plants, cacti, and ferns, all displayed. Apart from adding a vibrant vegetation to the surroundings, they help to purify the air and provide general comfort improvement. To generate a decorative impact, the walls have several pieces of art including sculptures, prints, and paintings as well as paintings. These works of art not only add to the local creative scene but also reflect the owner’s own tastes and personality, therefore reflecting their character.
Among the fragrant candles, essential oils, and aromatherapy stones kept in the bathroom are aromatherapy stones. Essential oils are one more aromatherapy tool. Their perfume not only permeates the space with pleasing smells but also helps to relax the body and the mind, therefore augmenting the general comfort of the surroundings. Furthermore, the designer selected a variety of towels and bath towels of the best quality for the bathroom set in order to provide the user with the most comfortable experience conceivable. There is use of pure cotton, bamboo fiber, and Egyptian cotton among other materials. They not only feel great to the touch and are quite absorbent but also give the whole space warmth. The bathroom is turned into a private area where people may find a moment of quiet and relaxation among their busy lives because of the inclusion of some specific design components.
