Our journey on this project’s yabo white and grey polished floor tiles began with a recommendation from a dedicated client, an accomplished hotel designer who has collaborated with HRST Stone multiple times. When asked to design the lobby of a new luxury hotel, our client knew who to call because he was so impressed with our professionalism and the quality of our polished floor tiles. Based on this designer’s judgement, the hotel owner chose to collaborate with us to create the hotel’s most important public areas.
Our HRST Stone team began working immediately upon receiving the project. To grasp their vision and needs, we visited the hotel owner and the designer several times. Following thorough conversations, we produced design ideas and excellent visuals. As we quickly, from idea to confirmation, presented a plan that precisely matched the client’s vision, our team’s knowledge and efficiency clearly showed.
Every element, including the lobby floor tiles—the first impression of a new luxury hotel in the city centre—had to be flawless. Why choose yabo grey and yabo white marble as polished floor tiles?

The lobby’s design revolves around a clever combination of two polished floor tiles: Yabo White Marble and Yabo Grey Marble. These decisions were not made lightly. Here are the reasons why the client chose this particular combination:
The Yabo White Marble tiles have a creamy, bright base that gives the lobby a spacious, clean feel. Coupled with the Yabo Grey Marble tiles, they provide depth and contrast, and this combination creates a striking visual impact that highlights the grandeur of the room.
Marble polished floor tiles, such as Yabo White Marble and Yabo Grey Marble, are not only beautiful but also very durable. They are ideal for busy hotel lobbies because they can withstand heavy foot traffic, are easy to clean, and retain their brilliance for a long time.
The neutral tones of marble, grey, and white are very flexible and pair perfectly with a variety of interior design features. Regardless of the lobby decoration style, these polished marble floor tiles are a perfect match for classic elegance and modern simplicity.
In this project, we want to create a modern tile floor. Different from Art Deco tiles and colourful floor tiles, we considered the simplicity of colour matching and the modern soft texture of the white and grey stone, so we chose the grey and white tone of this stone. Because the hardness of this stone is not high, the thickness of the floor tiles we used is 18 mm, which is also the standard thickness for engineering projects. The custom size is large floor tiles (24×48”). The owner originally wanted to use this specification of large floor tiles 48×48”, but due to the material limitations of the stone itself, he finally chose floor tiles 24×48”.

The natural marble-polished floor tiles’ appeal transcended the lobby. The hotel’s owner chose to use marble Yabo White and marble Yabo Grey tiles in other public spaces, each with a different function but a consistent design concept.
In the corridors, we used only Yabo white marble flooring . The white floor tiles’ clean, brilliant appearance gives the hallways additional openness and appeal. 12 x 24’’ floor tile’s reflecting surface also helped to lighten the area, therefore fostering a friendly environment for guests as they travelled across the hotel.
The Yabo Grey marble floor tiles were the highlight in the restaurant section. The grey marble floor tiles elegantly and sophisticatedly matched the dining room’s décor. Their darker colour was also useful since it concealed any small spills or stains, therefore guaranteeing the restaurant’s always-perfect appearance.grey marble floor tile, we used large floor tiles 24×24”, different from 16×16” floor tile and 18×18” floor tile.Large floor tiles (24×24”) will make the whole space feel more spacious.
In the SPA area, we once again looked at the Yabo white marble slab. Consider the aesthetics and utilisation of Chinese white marble.We still recommend the owner use marble floor tile (24×24). The calm, clear marble-white tiles created a restful environment. The polished surface, along with the impression of cleanliness and peace, enhances the suitability of the place for guest refreshment.
Are polished tiles good for the floor?
