Usually falling between March 5 and 7, Jingzhe, sometimes known as the “Awakening of Insects,” is one of the 24 solar periods used in the Chinese lunar calendar. It’s the moment when the frost of winter disappears and spring’s warmth starts to breathe life back into the ground. The name itself derives from the theory that spring thunder stirs dormant insects, so indicating the reawakening of nature. This is a season of rebirth, expansion, and fresh starts.
Dormant species surface as the ground warms, and farmers begin getting ready for planting. The scene changes as vegetation sprouts and spreads all around. After the silence of winter, this natural rebirth is the ideal reminder of how life cycles repeat and bring vitality and energy.
At our company, Jingzhe and the naturally occurring green stone slabs we provide have a wonderful relationship. Our green stone items bring a bit of the vitality of nature into your areas, much like Jingzhe revitalizes the ground. Imagine green quartzite with its rich tones and distinctive patterns; each block is like a bit of spring itself, catching the core of young, vibrant vegetation.
Jingzhe is rich in customs in Chinese civilization, not only about farming. Eating pears at this period, for instance, is thought to guard against the dry spring air. People symbolically fight bad luck by pounding a paper cutout in a fascinating custom known as “beating the villain.” It’s all about atoning and beginning over.
Likewise, adding green stone to your house or business will help to balance and harmonize things. Not only is a green quartzite coffee table or green marble furniture aesthetically pleasing, but it also naturally calms your environment. For flooring, counters, or accent pieces, these stones arouse the same tranquility and rejuvenation Jingzhe describes.
Jingzhe has value even if modern life may have shifted away from agrarian customs. This is a time to enjoy the wonders of nature, whether that means spending time outside or just bringing bits of it into our houses. Our selection of green stone slabs and tiles honors this harmony. Every item comes from the best quarries, highlighting the artistic ability of nature in every sense and design.
